Advanced professional – KFRP (Adv) or AKFRP

Kinesiology Federation Advanced Registered Professionals. Practitioners that have joined the Kinesiology Federation (KF) and completed over 1200 hours of training which includes the core subjects as defined by the Kinesiology Federation.

Professional – KFRP/MFHT

Practitioners have completed the core subjects as defined by the KF. These members have evidenced a minimum of 500 hours of training in kinesiology and core subjects (Anatomy & Physiology, Nutrition, Interpersonal Skills & Practice Management).

Associate – AKF/AFHT

Practitioners who are working their way toward professional status. These members have completed a minimum of 300 hours of training, and are qualified in Health Kinesiology. They are still in the process of completing their clinical practice hours, mandatory core subjects (Anatomy &Physiology, Nutrition, Interpersonal Skills & Practice Management) and are under the supervision of a mentor.

KF Affiliate

A professional qualified in Health Kinesiology for 3 or more years who is not, at present, working towards full professional status.

Student Practitioner

Student Practitioners may be qualified in other therapies. Those listed have completed a substantial, although varying, part of the Health Kinesiology training programme and work under the supervision of an experienced, qualified mentor.
